Bagga is new Chief Secretary of UP

Devinder Singh Bagga has taken over as new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. Prior to this assignment 1967 batch IAS officer Bagga was on deputation to the Government of India .He has replaced A P Verma .

Jarnail Singh to get another extension

Jarnail Singh is all set to get another extension in the Government of India. Extended tenure of the Joint Secretary in the PMO, Jarnail Singh , is coming to an end in a month or two. He is 1974 batch Manipur-Tripura cadre IAS officer.

D M Mitra to join BPR&D

D M Mitra is all set to join the BPR&D. He is 1983 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.Mitra is currently IG SAF Jabalpur.

Piyush Sharma to join RAW

Piyush Sharma is joining the RAW as Deputy Secretary. He is a Punjab cadre promotee IPS officer.

Rajaraman not to join GoI

P V Rajaraman is unlikely to join the Government of India as Secretary - Tamil Nadu Government, is believed to have refused to allow central deputation to 1967 batch IAS officer. One of his batchmates Laxmi Ratan has, however, joined the GoI.

Only 6 IAS officers of 1982 batch empanelled

Only six. out of a total 22, Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officers of 1982 batch have found place in the empanelment to the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government of India. Bureaucratic circles in the country are amazed over the demolition of this powerful batch of this state.

Grapevine has it that A P Sharma is being appointed new Chief Secretary of Manipur. He is 1972 batch
IAS officer.

A K Jain to join GoI

Maharastra cadre 1982 batch IAS officer A K Jain is joining All India Institute of Local Self Government (Autonomous body under Urban Development Ministry) as Senior Advisor.


Kackar to return

Raman Kackar , Advisor (Security), Indian Oil Corporation is returning to the parent Madhya Pradesh cadre after completion of his tenure. He is 1973 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.

Nilotpal Goswami posted in DGS&D

Nilotpal Goswami has been appointed Director (Vigilance) in the Department of Commerce (Supply Division) DGS&D. Ms Goswami is IAS officer of 1992 batch.

IFS changes in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh cadre IFS officer K S Reddy who was on deputation to the Indian Forestry College Dehradun has been posted in the office of the PCCF ,Bhopal.Kamlesh Chaturvedi has been appointed Deputy Conservator of Forest in the office of the PCCF.

IPS reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh

Rameshwar Dayal will be new IG Establishment.Vikram Chandra Goyal has been shifted as IG Border Police.Onkar Singh is the new SP Rural Lucknow. Ashutosh Pande has been made SP Vigilance. L V Antony D Kumar will be new SP Lalitpur. Chandra Dev has been shifted to Human Rights Commission as SP. Dinkar Sinha has been appointed Commandant in 37th battalion.
