Sisodia to head REC ?

N S Sisodia is likely to be appointed CMD of the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) this month.1968 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre Sisodia has been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India. His name is also doing the round for the post of Special Secretary Power.

Maharastra cadre 1978 batch IAS officer Rahul Asthana, the current General Manager BEST has been appointed as FA and JS, Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai, a post which was lying vacant since the last four months. This post was earlier held by another Maharastra cadre 1973 batch IAS officer P.D. Karandikar,who returned to the parent cadre to join as M.D. Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. This organisation has become famous for construction of Mumbai flyovers and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

IAS officer dies in Road Accident

Nirmal Kumar Wadhwani, district Collector Bikaner in Rajasthan died in a road accident on Monday. He was 1993 batch IAS officer.

Neelam Nath is RC Jharkhand Bhawan

Neelam Nath has been appointed new Resident Commissoner Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi. She is 1975 batch IAS officer.
