Gauri Chatterjee to be CMD of NAFED

Gauri Chatterjee is going to be the next CMD of NAFED. 1971 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre Ms Chatterjee would succeed Priya Darshi Thakur who has joined as Additional Secretary & FA in the Ministry of External Affairs.

Why did outgoing Cabinet secretary ignore the new incumbent ?

The bureaucratic circles are surprised over the neglect of his OSD by the outgoing Cabinet Secretary TR Prasad. The new incumbent to the post, Kamal Pande, was posted as OSD for 15 days, naturally, to acquaint himself with the present state of affairs in the new office but Prasad, it is learnt, ignored to send him the files. Only Prasad would be able to tell the reason behind it.

IPS officer is back to Maharashtra cadre

Meeran C Borwankar is back to the parent Maharashtra cadre . 1981 batch IPS officer Meeran was on deputation to the CBI. When, on promotion, she failed to get her posting in Mumbai , she preferred to go back to the parent cadre.

Singhi to return

Lal Chand Singhi is returning to the parent Assam-Meghalaya cadre after completion of his tenure. 1990 batch IAS officer, Singhi, is currently posted in the LAS Academy of Administration, Mussorrie.

Poddar on the board of Konkan Railways

Secretary Transport, Goa Government, S C Poddar, has been nominated to the Board of Konkan Railways. He is 1987 batch IAS officer of UT cadre.

Mishra had only four months to retire

Bindhya Nath Mishra, Secretary-Heavy Industries, who was prematurely reverted to the parent Jharkhand cadre had only four months for retirement. 1967 batch IAS officer Jha is scheduled to retire in February next.He is himself to be blamed !.
