Great relief to UP bureaucrats


It was a great relief for the Bureaucrats, especially to the Commissioners, DIGs, Collectors and SPs as the Cheif Minister of U.P. postponed her Mandal Review Meetings beginning on 23rd of this month from Moradabad, marching to Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Allahabad.
The message was received late last night by all the DMs that these review meetings will now be held in the second fortnight of December. It was expected that many top heads would roll in the aftermath of these review meetings.
On getting the information, the district administrative and police officials expressed relief for the time being, knowing the outcome of these meetings (if held) given the track record of Ms.Mayavati.

1974 batch IPS officers promoted in MP

Four 1974 batch IPS officers Mssrs S K Raut, Alind Jain, N K Tripathi and Panna Lal have been promoted to the rank of ADG in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has cleared the promotions file.
