Three 1971 batch IAS officers Messers Neena Gupta (Orissa), Kanwar Pratap Singh (Karnataka) and A K Dua (Maharashtra) are set to get posting on the rank of Additional Secretary in the Government of India in December.

Amit Kiran Deb is unlikely to join the Government of India on the rank of Additional Secretary. He is 1971 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre.

Mendiratta to return

Shailendra Mendiratta is returning to the parent Assam-Meghalaya, cadre after completion of his extended tenure, next month. 1981 batch IAS officer Mendiratta is currently posted in the Election Commission of India.
