Scindia's popularity on the wane!

It seems that Maharaja Jyotiraditya Scindia is losing popularity in the Gwalior and Chambal divisions. There are four ministers in the cabinet who owe their loyalty fully to the Chief Minister of MP, Digvijay Singh. The tumultuous reception that Village Industries Minister Shiv Narayan Meena got after his promotion as a Cabinet minister was unprecedented. Similar was the case with other ministers like Rakesh Chaudhry,Dr.Govind Singh, K.P.Singh and Aidal Singh Kansana. Agriculture Minister Mahendra Singh who is a trusted lieutenant of the Scindias has ceased to be in -charge of Guna district since August 17,2002. Moreover, Jyotiraditya Scindia is not having so cordial relations with his "bua"(aunt) i.e.Mrs.Yashodhra Raje, BJP MLA from Shivpuri.

K C Shrivastava is unlikely to be Maharastra CS

If reliable sources are to be believed K C Shrivastava is now out of the race for the post of Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. Post of the Maharashtra Chief Secretary will fall vacant next month end following the superannuation of V Rangnathan.

Nishikant Sinha to be Secretary Planning
