CAT notices to Secretary-Home Affairs, Police commissioner

Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has issued contempt notices to the Secretary - Ministry of Home Affairs and the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, for not complying with its orders. CAT has, five months ago, directed the Delhi Police to regularise the post of one Gajraj Singh, Assistant commissioner in the Delhi Police, from adhoc to regular. Singh has appealed in the CAT for having waited for 12 years for his post to be regularised.

ADG Intelligence Gujarat shifted

As indicated on Wednesday ADG Intelligence in Gujarat R B Shreekumar has been transferred. He will now be ADG Police Reforms. DIG Intelligence E Radhakrishnaiah has been shifted to Police Training College Junagarh as Principal. SP Intelligence Sanjeev Bhatt has been made Commandant SRP Training Camp Sorath Chowky Junagarh.

1982 batch IPS promoted in Uttranchal

Two 1982 batch IPS officers S K Bhagat and L P Mishra have been promoted to the rank of IG in Uttranchal.Bhagat has been posted in the PHQ. Mishra will be IG Garhwal Zone.Three other IPS officers Ram Singh Meena, Ashok Kumar and Jeevan Chand Pande have been given Selection-Grade.
