Punjab Government asks for extension of CS

The Punjab Government is learnt to have written to the GOI to seek an
extension of 3 months for Chief Secretary, Y.S Ratra who is due to retire on April 30. Ratra had earlier been given an extension of three months after he attained the age of superannuation on January 31.The first extension had been sought by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on the pretext of needing Ratra for preparing the budget
2003-2004.
