Huge police contingent of Punjab in UK

Pussy Cat Pussy Cat where had you been?
I had been to England to greet the queen
Pussy Cat Pussy Cat what did you do there?
I frightened the queen from under the chair!!

Seems like pussy cat is not the only one doing the rounds in England.
25 brave officers of Punjab Police have also joined the worthy pussy cat . But this time not to scare the queen but the wits out of criminals in the South Asian Diaspora. DGP Siddiqui, ADGP Mohd Izhar Alam and various top notch IPS and PPS police officers have embarked towards England to attend a conference on preventing and tackling crime by and within the Asian Diaspora. However, when the British Police come to Punjab, they comprise a team of mostly constable level cops and barely a few top police officers. But truly speaking, on a pragmatic scale, are 25 cops, most of them top grade officers, actually needed to attend a 5 day seminar? Can anyone imagine how many districts and departments in Punjab would now be minus their respective heads/ authorities.Or is it that Punjab Police doesn't have dynamic Non Gazetted Officers who cannot deliver at the end of the day , hence a deluge of officers are needed to address the conference? Since 1988, Punjab has recruited 1500 direct ASI's who live as ASI's to DSP's for 25 years and are on the cutting edge too. Isn't that the right bank of people to chose from? 70% of these direct recruits are post graduates and almost 40% might even be convent educated. Does that ring a bell for anyone??Wonder how the Govt of India sanctioned this tour? Aren't we all reminded at the same time of a wonderful phenomena that we all enjoyed in our college and University days something called… STUDY TOURS!!! Now wasn't that great fun and greater frolic too!! Considering the sizable populations of Indians in the UK, after Punjab Police who's next??Logic says.. it has to be Gujarat Police!!!
