It is learnt that K.R.Lakhanpal has now personally requested Chief
Minister Amarinder Singh not to relieve him for Government of India and retain him within Punjab.Lakhanpal seems to be ruling the roost in Punjab and who would want to relinquish a wonderful network of "contacts" within the state and leave off for Delhi.
