U S Mishra is new Director CBI

As predicted in this column on November 10 ,U S Mishra has been appointed new Director of the CBI. File of his appointment was forwarded at 4 pm from the office of the Deputy Prime Minister to the PMO on Saturday. Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee cleared the appointment of 1968 batch Orissa cadre IPS officer,Mishra the same evening.Currently,he is Special Director in the CBI.

Thulasidas to be CMD Air India !

It seems the name of Vasudevan Thulasidas has been cleared at the highest level for the post of CMD Air India. He is 1972 batch IAS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre.

Yashwant Malhotra to join SSB !
