Punjab bureaucrats discussed a strange phenomenon that had supposedly happened in the tenure of Chief Minister P S Badal. It is rumoured that senior IAS officer Bikramjit was the PS to Badal but had to be removed following a CBI chargesheet against him. However, rumours have it that despite a new face as the PS to CM, Bikramjit supposedly remained the shadow PS to CM and "executed" orders like he was doing so initially. Would S K Sinha enjoy the same camaraderie, amity and solidarity with Chief Minister Amarinder Singh even when not the PS to CM?Meanwhile Senior IAS officers, Dr B.C.Gupta, P.K.Verma, S.C.Aggarwal and B.R . Rumour mill has it that supporters of one of the controversial advisors of the CM, whom dissidents had been clamouring against, is actively involved in the so called"political betting" with high stakes. The involvement of some Amarinder loyalists can also not be ruled out.
