Who would be the new Resident Commissioner of Karnataka ?

Sudhakar Rao, (1973), may now revert back to Bangalore after his wife Smt Nirupama Rao leaves forUS on a posting. Two officers who are in the running to succeed him as Resident Commissioner are Sudhir Kumar (1977 batch, now on leave) and Sudhir Krishna (also 1977 batch, now on study leave atDelhi). Two former Resident Commissioners BrahmDutt (1973) and Falguni Rajakumar (1972) may also be interested for another stint at Delhi. The kannada brigade is rooting for a kannada officer on the ground that Karnataka Bhawan at Delhi has to be led by a kannada speaking officer only.

Flying age of Air Hostesses to go up ?

The Air India Board is going to discuss the age issue of Air Hostesses most probably this week to issue formal order of the reinduction of 115 Air Hostesses who have crossed 50 years of age.After a long tussle with Government officials , a lobby has reportedly managed to find a
way to overrule the Supreme Court Judgement on the Air
Hostess flying age.
