Now name of outgoing Secretary Personnel in Government of India, S S Dawra has started doing the round for the post of Member TDSAT.He is retired 1967 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre.

Ms Reva Nayyar has been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in Government of India. She is 1968 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre.

Uttar Pradesh DGP V K Balan Nair is not being changed by the Mulayam Singh Government. He is 1971 batch IPS officer.

Non-IAS virtually rule Mizoram

Believe it or not ,Mizoram is the only state in the country where a large number of non IAS officers are occupying IAS cadre posts.The only qualification is that one needs is to be a Mizo!There are already 2 IAAS officers, 1 IRS, 1 IRTS and 1 Indian Economic Service who are posted as Commissioners/Secretaries to the Govt. In addition there are a host of other Central Service officers in other senior positions.
