Will Padma Balasubramanian be Secretary-Posts ?

Rumours are rife that Mrs Padma Balasubramanian, presently Member Postal Services Board, will take over as Secretary = Department of Posts superceding her colleague and batch mate Vijay Bhushan. The present incumbent S C Dutta is retiring this month. Mrs Padma was earlier Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Labour.
