121 IPS officers to retire this year

Altogether 121 IPS officers will superannuate in the country this year. Highest number of retirement is from Maharastra followed by Orissa.

R K Dutta to return

Rupak Kumar Dutta is returning to the CBI headquarters from Australia next month. 1981 batch Karnataka cadre IPS officer Dutta will succeed Manipur-Tripura cadre 1977 batch IPS officer J C Dabas who is returning to the parent cadre after completion of his tenure.

AP CM hijacks system

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandra Babu Naidu, seems to have hijacked the GoI's system as the postings on the post of Joint Secretaries and Additional Secretaries are being done from outside the panel. Panel or no panel, the recommendation of Naidu is, of course, being given top priority.
