1974 batch IAS in Maharashtra to get promotion

Promotion of 1974 batch IAS officers to the rank of Principal Secretary is expected to take place in Maharastra soon. Altogether there are eight officers of this batch.

We had in our column then said, "With the Vice Presidential elections over, Sushil Kumar Shinde may now be sent to Maharastra as the Chief Minister. Congress President Sonia Gandhi is reported to have given her mind to this effect".
