Cabinet Reshuffle this week

Reshuffle in the Union Ministry is to be effected this week. While Vasundhara Raje and Raman Singh are sure to be dropped, those who are expected to be inducted are Farooq Abdullah, Dilip Singh Judeo, Keshubhai Patel, Rajnath Singh ,C P Thakur, Arun Jaitley,L M Singhvi and Kailash Joshi.

Who will be the next Secretary General, Colombo Plan Secretariat, CP Council Srilanka?.Tenure of present Secretary General, Orissa cadre 1974 batch IAS officer, Dr U Sarat Chandran, will come to an end in April next. Infact, Member Countries have been asked to send nominations for the post by January 31.

20 more names added in 1983 batch IAS empanelment

Names of 20 more officers have been added in the list of empanelment of 1983 batch IAS officers to the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government. Altogether 60 names had been reviewed.

Dr Rao empanelled

Dr T Prabhakar Rao has been empanelled to the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government of India. Empanelment of, 1982 batch TamilNadu cadre IAS officer, Rao, was cleared during the last review meeting.

Subbarao gets extension

Gujarat Chief Secretary, G Subbarao, has been granted three months extension in service .Subbarao was to retire on January 31.
