Now that Punjab is eagerly awaiting for Jai Singh Gill to take over the reigns of Chief Secretaryship on August 1, speculation hawks are all wondering, with their fingers crossed, as to who amongst the bureaucratic circle would be chosen few to enjoy a proximity to Gill? While,it is very well known that Jai Singh Gill is an officer known for his uprightness,it is also speculated that his circle of core friends are mostly non IAS , though he surely must be having his own set of friends from within the bureaucracy too. Gill is also believed to be a simple person who is not so extrovert,remains preferably reserved and if we may say so...a man of few words! However, one thing is sure that if there is anyone in Punjab who is likely to enjoy Gill's presence the most then it would be long time friend S.K.Sinha, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister. And of course most of Sinha's coterie ..the Dubeys and their likes etc.A major change at the highest strata of the bureaucracy is also expected with the coming in of Gill in the state.Who actually figures in the CS Designate's blue book is just a matter of time and would be out in the days to come!
