Pukhraj Maroo is likely to be appointed General Manager of the Kedriya Bhandar in Government of India. He is 1980 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.

Sunil Khatri (IAS, AP-1972), Joint Secretary in Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources, is going to assume additional charge of Managing Director of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). This is because M. Kanappan, Minister, MNES, is sitting on file for appointment of new MD of IREDA for over two months despite repeated reminders by Secretary, MNES, Ajai Vikram Singh (IAS, Uttaranchal-1967). New MD selected by PESB is from IMF, Washington. Minister is trying hard for extension of current MD, Dr V Bakthavatsalam who has been MD for 15 years since inception of IREDA. Why is Minister so keen on retaining current MD instead of getting new blood ?
