Has IAS couple resigned ?

Grapevine has it that West Bengal cadre 1983 batch IAS couple, Amitabh and Ranjana Mukherjee, have submitted their resignations. Amitabh is already with the World Bank,Washington DC, and rumours say his wife Ranjana has followed suit there.

1985 batch is frozen

Seeing the pressure, 1985 batch of IAS has also been frozen in the Government of India. Now, this batch IAS officers also will not be able to go on deputation to the GoI.

Empanelment of 1969 batch IAS further delayed

Empanelment of 1969 batch IAS officers to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India has been further delayed because of US-Iraq war.

Rahul Khullar to join ADB again

Rahul Khullar, Sales Tax Commissioner, Delhi is going back to Asian Development Bank. 1975 batch IAS officer of UT cadre, Khullar, returned just last year after an eight year stint abroad.

Bansal shifted to Mussorie

Utthan Kumar Bansal has been shifted to Mussorie as Director of the ITBP Training Academy. He is 1974 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Prior to this, he was posted in Delhi ITBP headquarters.

Ram Shekhar to go London

Insiders inform that the DC Chandigarh, M Ram Shekhar, IAS, is now pushing off to London School of Economics after the completion of his tenure. 1988 batch Haryana cadre officer, Ramshekhar, would be pursuing higher studies at LSE. His tenure would finish shortly following which he would push off to London School of Economics.

Arvind Mayaram is Chairman of RTDC

Arvind Mayaram is the new Chairman of Rajasthan Toursim Development Corporation. He is 1978 batch IAS officer.

No Johny Joseph, No Ojha but SV Prasad

SV Prasad (IAS: Andhra Pradesh: 1975) too has served as Secretary to three Chief Ministers: N. Janardhan Reddy, K. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, and N. Chandrababu Naidu. He is probably the longest serving Secretary to any Chief Minister in the country. What is more, he is a role model for any Secretary to Chief Minister, or for that matter for any IAS Officer.

Rajni Sekhri Sibal is joining the IAS Academy Mussorie as Deputy Director. She is 1986 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre.
