CMD of the Indian Airlines Sunil Arora is likely to be appointed Chairman of the Air India also.There is a serious move to merge the Air India and Indian Airlines to enable Sunil Arora to head both Airlines. 1980 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Arora is considered to be the most powerful bureaucrat in Government of India.

Empanelment meeting deferred

Meeting for empanelment of 1969 batch IAS officers did not take place on Tuesday. Meeting is now expected to take place later this week.
