Nripendra Mishra to be Secretary Planning Commission

Secretary Fertilisers Nripendra Mishra is being shifted to the Planning Commission as Secretary. 1967 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer Nripendra Mishra will replace 1966 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer Nishikant Sinha who is superannuating by this month end.Only senior most IAS officer is posted in the Planning Commission as Secretary.

Laxmi Chand to be Secretary Fertilisers

After a long tug of war IAS have lost the post of CMD HUDCO to a non-IAS.Political bosses are believed to have chosen P S Rana for the post .Rana is currently Executive Director in HUDCO.Infact,a search committee headed by Cabinet Secretary Kamal Pande had selected Madhya Pradesh cadre 1973 batch IAS officer Satyanand Mishra for the post,The recommendation of the Committee ,however did not find place in the DPMO and PMO.
