Will Kamal Pande go as Governor ?

Grapevine has it that Cabinet Secretary Kamal Pande will either be appointed Governor of Rajasthan or Lt.Governor of Delhi.1966 batch IAS officers should pray to the God that Pandeji is made Governor. Naturally,the post of Cabinet Secretary will go to some 1966 batch IAS officer for two years.Name of CBI Director P C Sharma is also doing the round for the post .Infact, the NDA Government is keen to appoint a Brahmin as the Governor of Rajasthan.

Sinha and Dawra out !

In the final round Nishikant Sinha and S S Dawra have lost the race for the post of Member Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).1966 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer Sinha is currently Member Secretary Planning Commission while 1967 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre Dawra is Secretary Personnel. Both officers are retiring in a month or two.

Jawed Akhtar may not join SSB

M Jawed Akhtar who has been picked up by the Government of India to join the SSB as DIG is unlikely to make it. He is 1986 batch IPS officer of UP cadre.

Sudeep to join SPG

Sudeep Lakhtakia is likely to join the SPG. He is 1984 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.

Atindra Sen continues to be the Registrar of Delhi University. 1978 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Sen who was to return to the parent state has reportedly not been relieved by the Vice Chancellor.
