Grapevine has it that that Additional Director CBI Vijay Shankar will be new Police Commissioner of Delhi . 1969 batch UP cadre IPS officer Vijay Shankar has recently been empanelled to the rank of DG in Government of India. Delhi Police Commissioner R S Gupta is retiring in a couple of months.Other contenders are two UT cadre IPS officers Anil Chaudhry and Dr K K Paul.

Sen to be DGP Manipur

Swaranjit Sen is being tipped to be new DGP Manipur. He is 1968 batch IPS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
