So while Akali supremo P.S.Badal was full of content and glee yesterday when Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had to appear in person over a defamation suit slammed against him by Badal, supporters of Badal had some of the funniest comments reserved for the day.Grapevine has it that when Amarinder was granted bail,an ingenious Akali supporter was heard saying, "Kyon aa gaya naa oont pahad ke neeche? Ab kabootaron ki baari hain!" It means, " Now that the camel had to bow down to the mighty mountain, it's time to encage pigeons too".On being asked by another passerby, what on earth was the meaning of such a ridiculous comment,bright Akali think tank replied that the oont, i.e the camel, was Amarinder Singh who had been brought to the court by Badal wheras it was Amarinder who was trying for the last so many months to Badal produced in courts over alleged corruption charges.And who kabootars or the pigeons were?To this the youngster replied , " Wohi saare IPS afsar, Pande, Chattoapdhyaya, Pannu, Singh"Would that mean that the Badals have already chalked out a plan against ADGP/Vigilance A.P.Pande, DIG LUdhiana range, Siddhartha Chattopadhaya, DIG Vigilance, K.S. Pannu and S.P Singh?Rumour mill might churn out that Pande, Chattopadhyaya, Pannu and Singh are appeasing their Congress bosses but one can't deny the fact that each one of them is doing only that falls in the line of their duty.Would it not be Amarinder Singh's turn to see to it that Badal was produced in a court of law as soon as possible!
