Secretary level changes on cards in GoI

Secretary Textiles S B Mohapatra is being appointed Secretary Commerce. Radha Singh Secretary Water Resources may be appointed Secretary Tourism. Secretary Tourism Rati Vinay Jha may be shifted to Textiles. Secretary Animan Husbandry Binu Sen is being made Secretary Water Resources. Additional Secretary Coal Laxmi Chand on promotion may go as Secretary Animal Husbandry.

Nine IPS officers to retire this month

Altogether nine IPS officers are superannuating in the country by this month end. They are Mssrs R C Khan (Bihar),S P Gupta (Chhattisgarh),S K Banerjee (Karnataka)O P Bali (Maharastra),P K Mohanty (Orissa),Lajpal Singh (Punjab) and R Mohan Shukla,Pabraham Kurian and Ram Sewak (UP).
