Bank's Olympiad

The Second Bank's Olympiad in 14 sports disciplines and with assured participation of nearly 2000 sportspersons from entire india will be organised by State Bank of Patiala at Chandigarh and Patiala from November 1 to 8. Disclosing this, AK Das, MD of the SBOP said, the first meet of this kind was organised by Karnataka Bank at Bangalore in january 2003. He said, the sportspersons from all the Public sector banks such as Punjab National bank,OBC, SBI, Allahabad Bank, Punjab and Sind Bank will take part.Later he informed that former international cricket star Navjot Sidhu, who is their brand ambassador right now, might also be roped in by whole of State Bank group to become their ambassador.
