The centre has decided to pass on the coveted responsibility to Raminder Singh Gujral, Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration and ordered the former IIM pass out to take over as the acting Advisor.However, rumour mill has it that Administrator Chandigarh Administration is not too pleased with the developments at all and why should he be?. Is it that with the flushing out of Virendra Singh, a friend has been lost ??Did some forces try to prepare a dossier on the worthy Home Secretary as the last and the final attempt to thwart Gujral's growth, immediately after news from Delhi poured in about Virendra Singh's shifting .Now,it shall definitely be an uphill task for the following officials: SDM East Naresh Narwal, IGP Rajesh Kumar,DSP Thakur and most of the Virendra Singh lobby.
