Women Chief Ministers do not impress at all !

Demand for more reservation to women in politics notwithstanding, today's women politicians have not been able to impress upon the people as has been done by their predecessors. Examples of Mrs Thatcher, Mrs Bhandarnaike, Mrs Golda Meir and our own Mrs Gandhi who have proved to be tremendous administrators are noteworthy. But that is not the case with today's fair sex politicians, not at least the present Chief Ministers.
Response to our question : Who is the best Women chief Minister - Rabri Devi, Jayalalitha or Mayawati ? - has something been unthought of. Some of the respondents have even gone to the suggestion of changing the question to - Who is the worst? Others have termed the question itself as futile.
If one respondent says, "I rate Rabri Devi the best by default, since by her relative inaction she has caused least damage to the Indian economy", the another one feels "it is really a very sorry state of affairs if we have to compare Jayalalitha, Mayawati and Rabri Devi. All the three can be compared only on one yard stick i.e. who is the worst ? Together they have been disaster to the state run by them. God give some sense to the voters who have voted them to power".
Yet another respondent goes on to say, "no doubt all the three have their own importance in proving how defunct is our democracy. Rabri by her total ignorance, Maya by her successful effort at fooling such a large number of people with her one-point 'dalit' cause and Jayalalitha by her brazenness".
However, the silver lining has been the sympathies of, at least, one respondent with Rabri devi. He describes Rabri, a complete Indian woman, as the best Chief Minister with Simple living and high thinking. "She has the support of people of the state against the Central Government which has caused decay in Bihar by not supporting any of its cause. This is a partiality. Andhra Pradesh got thousands of crores from Central Government but Bihar has nothing", he says surprisingly enough adding that, "Under Rabri's rule 80 per cent people of Bihar were living gracefully with good education".
But by and large, the people do not seem to be happy with the way the three have been performing or else why would one suggest : "Now could you modify this question and ask 'which is the most incompetent, indifferent, corrupt and arrogant' of the three (the law-making, law-interpreting and law-enforcing) organs of our Constitution?" .
