Grapevine has it that Mohammad Shafi Pandit is going to replace Dr S S Billowria as Chief Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir. 1969 batch IAS officer Pandit had recently declined to join the Government of India as Secretary.

On return from deputation from the Government of India Shiv Raj Singh has been appointed Principal Secretary GAD. T S Chhatwal will now be MD MARKFED and Civil Supplies Corporation. Mansharam Thakur has been made Joint Secretary Revenue.

Kumar and Risbud get postings in Karnataka

1977 batch IAS officer Sudhir Kumar and 1983 batch IAS officer Arvind G Risbud are back to the parent Karnataka cadre from their central deputation. On return Sudhir Kumar has been appointed Principal Secretary Administrative Reforms and Training. Risbud has been made Registrar of the Bangalore University in place of an IPS officer K C Ramamurthy.
