Prosecution ordered by CVC

Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has directed launching of prosecution against six senior Government officials. The officials against whom prosecution has been recommended include an IPS officer from Ministry of Home Affairs, and one each from the Department of Telecom, Chennai Port Trust, Oriental Bank of Commerce and New India Assurance.
