Over six IFS to get one year extension

More than half a dozen IFS officials, of secretary rank, are being provided one year extension to be deputed as Ambassadors. They are being sent out because their Junior - Shyam Saran of 1970 batch - has taken over as Foreign Secretary. Those to be given extension include Santosh Kumar, Dilip Lahiri, PK Singh and Abhyankar.

Kindly recall the IC 184 Hijacking……as the Government negotiated with the hijackers, Congress went to town lambasting the Government. Congress spokesmen spent their waking hours criticizing the Government….fact of the matter is that NDA Government was dealing with a situation that was hundred times the magnitude of the present kidnapping situation and Congress , despite the sensitivity, lent no support to the Government.

This time Congress is in the hot seat……even though the International Press has lambasted the Indian Foreign Minister for making irresponsible statements, however BJP is quite and is not criticizing the Government……in dire times this is how an Opposition behaves!!!

I think Natwar Singh , who spent his waking hours criticizing the NDA Government's tackling of the IC 184 situation , should send a note of apology to Jaswant Singh….sorry …..just send a Sorry Card……..because if he has to pen a note Natwar is capable of venting his spleen 'in between the lines'.

CPM will protest the hike in the Petroleum Prices......after PM returns CPM Leaders will gather in protest at 7 Race Course (their designated Meeting Point). They will have tea or dinner with PM and demand roll back of prices......PM will say that Aiyer like Pranab Da cannot put the toothpaste back into the tube....the way CPM is conceding to the Congress, in its bastions the people may just ensure that CPM will not require any toothpaste in future.....extraction of CPM.
