Grapevine has it that Arun Kumar Sinha will now be the new Commissioner - Handlooms in the Government of India. He is 1972 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre. The post is falling vacant following the appointment of S C Pani as the Chief Secretary of Orissa.

Five ADG level vacancies in CPOs

Five ADG level posts are currently lying vacant in the Central Police Organisations. While two vacancies are in the CRPF one each is in the BSF, the ITBP and the SSB.

Manmohan should maintain the dignity of his Office……the Newspapers had pictures splashed on the front pages that showed Manmohan 'devoutly' doing a Namskar to Priyanaka's kid. Privately the good Doctor could even touch the kid's feet but in Public he must realize he cannot demean the Office of the PM in his loyalty to the Gandhi family. Facts are facts whether the good Doctor likes it or not…….he is the PM….Prime Minister and not PM…….Pleading Minister or Pleasing Minister….as PM he has to get over….Saraa India ek taraf aur Soniya Ji ki familiy ek taraf!!!!

The good Doctor has impeccable credentials……his honesty is unquestionable…..his experience is extensive …….and I am sure every Indians hands go up in Namaste as they see him!!!!!!! AICC…..All India Capped Committee…..all of them came to the session wearing caps. The prize for the funniest looking one goes to Oscar Fernandes……he literally looked like one of those Dhabaa waalas in Mumbai!!! Natwar Singh kept removing his cap to scratch his head……mental lice!!!! Caps are essential because in Congress 'iski topi uske sar and uski topi iske sar' is common!!!!

Mani Shankar Aiyer is going through a bad phase and he has his 'gob' (slang for mouth) to blame for this. After the Savarkar fiasco now at the AIIC session Janardhan Dwivedi had to tick Mani off for making an unwarranted statement that future Congress leaders were the 'silver spoon mouthed' gang under the Leadership of the 'golden spoon mouthed' Rahul and Priyanaka !!!! Fact is that some in the Congress are no longer willing to gulp down Leadership!!! Sonia has taken serious note of this……growth of spines in Congressmen is indeed a very serious matter and 'de-spining' will be done at the earliest !!!!

Om Puri is getting his due!!!!! The man is a fantastic actor …….very good voice…..a natural. He's done very well for himself in the UK and is now any OBE. Bollywood is now going gaga over him. He laments that a leading Actor gets Rs. 2.5 crores for a movie whereas all that he gets in Rs. 15 lakhs!!! Hari Om!!!!
