Department of Space full of "VACANT SPACE"

Of the FOUR posts meant for IAS etc., at the headquarters of Department of Space, Bangalore, three
are vacant today. The Member Finance, Department of Space is a secretary level post. Dr. S.S. Meenaxisundhram (1968 batch IAS) retired from service on 31st October 2004. Since then this post is vacant. The Additional Secretary, Department of Space is also vacant. The incumbent S.K.Das (1970 batch IAS) has completed his Central deputation tenure and has reverted to his parent state of Karnataka. For the moment he is on leave. The then JS, Department of Space, S.V.Ranganath (1975 batch IAS) has been recalled from Central deputation to be the Principal Secretary to Karnataka Chief Minister Dharam Singh. His place was taken by the JS & FA Dr.R.G.Nadadur (1980 batch IAS). So the post of JS & FA is also vacant.
