D Swroop to get important assignment !

Secretary Expenditure, D Swaroop, who is superannuating on December 31 will in all probability get an important assignment. He will either be Chairman of the SEBI or Deputy Governor in the RBI. We can only wait and watch till a final decision comes in.

Outgoing Chairman of the 12th Finance Commission C Rangrajan has been appointed Chairman of the Economic Advisery Council to the Prime Minister.He will have the rank of Cabinet Minister.
