DG SSB Divakar Prasad wins in CAT

The CAT Bench of Chandigarh has rejected the petition of the Himachal Pradesh Government seeking modification in Government of India's order quashing the departmental proceedings against Director General of the SSB ,Divakar Prasad .The Himachal Pradesh Government had tried to charge sheet 1968 batch IPS officer Divakar Prasad for having handed over charge without Government orders to join the GoI.The state government had pleaded that the documents produced by Divakar Prasad and the Ministry of Home Affairs could be fabricated .The CAT did not accept these contentions.

Addressing a Republic Day gathering, G.K.Marwaha, Chairman - Chandigarh Housing Board announced that the Adviser, Chandigarh Administration has asked him to stay put till March 31 as the Chairman - Chandigarh Housing Board and in all probability he would be relieved only after that.
