Is that why Ambassador Mansingh was extra confident about his stay in US? Rumour mill has it that before proceeding for the United States of America as the Ambassador, Lalit Man Singh had managed to get a written contract signed by the then External Affairs Minister that would have prevented any chances of a sudden or abrupt termination of his tenure as the Indian Ambassador.
