He said, "Hadh kar di aapne"…while speaking about Sonia !!!! And Amar Singh has vowed to avenge this slight…….in Munna Bhai's tapori language Amar Singh says……Maami (he cannot call Sonia Maamu) yeh Dinner mujh pe udhaar raha!!!!

Jungle mein Shibu naacha kissi ne nahi dekha ( sung to the tune of Jungle mein mor naacha kisi ne nahi dekha) ……though his detractors say that he could not be in the Jungle …..reason…..the Jharkahnd Jungles do not come in the range of the Mobile network and Shibu has been in touch with the Electronic Media on an hourly basis from his cell phone!!!! Anyway today he has surfaced in Ranchi…..and onlookers say he does not look as if he has come out of the Jungle but looks like he has just stepped out of a Spa.

Manmohan had requested that none of his Cabinet colleagues should undertake that collective send off jamboree. But, Sonia issued a 'ruler' (like a class teacher), akin to the whip issued in Parliament, that all should line up to see off Manmohan. Vajpayee put his point forward with humour……Manmohan puts his point with sincerity…..not that Vajpayee was not sincere or Manmohan lacks humour….their individual styles. Like I've said Manmohan's simplicity, integrity and experience just glow.

I am only worried for the people accompanying him on the Flight…..with his frugal eating habits they may have to do with a 'karela' (bitter gourd) rolled up in a roti!!!! And of course they should be prepared for Singh Sahib pacing the length of the plane…he is committed to his fitness regimen….his walk is more like our run!!!!!

Balaasahib has his way of keeping his senior partner tuned to him. Recently at Manohar Joshi's Speaker's Diary release he warned BJP that it should not ignore him….he said in the past they had done so ……. "Maine unko dand… (was going to say Dandaa diya but, then stopped short) ..samjha diya"………….fact of the matter is that in Maharashtra, BJP cannot do without Shiv Sena and vice versa…..they've got used to each other….so Balaasahib should accept this gracefully…..Balaasahib lajoo nako (do not feel shy)!!!!!

In Bhopal Governor 'long legs' Balram Jhakhar is giving sleepless nights to Officials in the Raj Bhavan. The present bed in Raj Bhavan has the Governors legs dangling out by a couple of feet. New Bed is being procured….the nomenclature for the new bed is another problem…in fact a detailed study has been carried out on Double Beds and literally a thesis can be written on the subject by the Raj Bhavan….Dynasty King, Kensington King, White King and Majestique King to Chelsea King…….the appropriate Indian name is…. chey (6) foota (feet in Punjabi) bistar. They will also have to change the glasses in Raj Bhavan…Jhakar has his lassi in one of those extra large glasses…..more like four in one glass ......both bed and glass are available in Hoshiarpur.

The impasse between Congress and the Opposition continues…..negotiations are on…..but seems more like one step forward and ten steps backward. Pranab Da's scathing statement in Parliament is now the bone of contention…….officially he takes a tough line but privately Pranab Da sings, "Yaaro mujh ko maaf karna mein pareshaan hoo……Madam is firing her gun from my shoulder…..and her 'gulaam' Azad is doing the same too!!!"
