Kasuri and Natwar Singh met over a Chinese Lunch. Over 'hot and sour' soup they discussed Indo - Pak relations. As the main course came the topic shifted to Nuclear Policy……both first used Chopsticks and could not handle the noodles and then opted for the good ole reliable fork!!!!! Over Dessert …..honey noodles and ice cream……they discussed Cricket. The only topic that they seemed to see eye to eye was Cricket and both came out and diplomatically announced that they have struck a chord….harmonious or discordant is the question?????

Natwar is called Nutwal by the Chinese and he is not pleased as it gives his name a different hue!!!! Cannot use Singh as it will complicate matters…….too many Singhs, past and present. How about Kunwar…his title???? What!!!! In these Socialist times how can he use such a title and that too with Commies????

Chandrababu Naidu seems to have mothballed his Laptop…….now he is on a common man binge. He held a cycle rally to protest the fuel hike. He gingerly rode his cycle……only wish he had thought of the common man when he was in power!!!!! Confucius says …..Laptop was invented for mobility. Hence, if someone uses the Laptop only in his or her Office he or she is defeating the purpose this Laptop was made for!!!!!

Seems the word has been passed down by Congress Ministers that Amar Singh should be kept at an arms length!!!! Most vociferously by Mani Shankar Aiyer, with whom Amar Singh had come to blows. Amar Singh says that these difficult times will not be amar (forever) and come September the situation will become 'mulayam' (soften). By the way Amar met Vajpayee shortly before Vajpayee's Manali sojourn. So please do not be surprised if you come across Amar humming the tune of 'Come September'.

Could an inconvenient ally be better than an untrustworthy ally???? BJP the inconvenient ally because of its rightist image versus and Congress the untrustworthy ally because of its past. Could repolarization take place after the Assembly results?????
