The Programme was run by the United Nations University/University of Ulster and had 20 Participants from SAARC Countries namely India, Pakistan, Srilanka,Nepal and Bangaladesh. Anil Shukla is the only police officer in the group.

Hasmukh Adhia, an IAS officer of 1981 batch (Gujarat), now posted as Add. Principal secretary to Chief Minister of Gujarat has been awarded IIMB Gold Medal for Academic Excellence in the Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (2002-2003 batch).
