Menon to be Secretary Commerce

Srikandath Narayan Menon will in all probability be the new Secretary Commerce. 1969 batch West Bengal cadre IAS officer, Menon, is currently Special Secretary Commerce. Earlier a couple of other names were also in circulation.

Two 1991 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS officers Rama Krishna Rao and Sai Pasad Guttapali are in the process of applying to Harward, Wharton, MIT, Kellog for MBA. They have sought government permission for doing so.
