Anil Ambani is the lady killer politician

Bhopal: Ladies, beware ! Forget Shahrukh, Salman and Hrithik who impress many a women - both married and unmarried - on the celluloid alone. Here comes lady killer, this time, from among the politicians. Guess who, he is a business tycoon too ! Yes, he is none other than the one, and the only one, Anil Ambani.
This fact has come to light following a survey put up on the portal whispersinthecorridors.com in its News and Views section. The portal quite popular among the country's decision makers - be they the politicians or the bureaucrats - is known for its alacrity when it comes to transmitting the news about the `powers that be'.
Even its Editor, Dr. Suresh Mehrotra, had while posting the question never imagined that response for Ambani would be so overwhelming. "I had never thought that Ambani would outnumber others that too by such a huge margin" says Mehrotra.
The respondents were asked to post their choice from among the 12 young faces in politics viz. Rahul Gandhi, Sandeep Dixit, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Anil Ambani, Arun Jaitley, Varun Gandhi, Sachin Pilot, Dayanidhi Maran, Dushyant Singh, Manvendra Singh, Milind Deora and Omar Abdullah.
And the respondents, over 1000, intruiguingly enough, fell for the suave and soft Anil Ambani leaving all the Baba Logs (youngsters) far behind. The response in favour of Ambani, believe it, was a whopping 90 per cent leaving the so called charming ones like Gandhis and Scindia far behind, though the reasons behind falling for Ambani were different.
While some favoured him as a potential ladykiller politician because they thought that he is smart, others were impressed by his perfection. Some voted for him simply because of his wealth. They think that the one who is wealthy has all the qualities in itself. Take for instance a comment saying, "jiske hath main paisa, uske haath mein waise hi satta (power)". Karlo usko mutthi main aur sirf usme hai woh baat were the compliments for Ambani who has been considered an all round performer and who would not love to like the one who is apt at performing - whatever the place may be.
While over 90 per cent respondents favoured Ambani, the remaining 11 poor chaps finished off within 10 per cent with Rahul Gandhi bagging favour of about three per cent respondents and his cousin Varun Gandhi only Two per cent.
Of course, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Omar Abdullah were also seen as a lady killer politician but by only a handful of respondents. The others in the competition also garnered some votes for themselves but they could be counted on fingers.

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Honest man fears nothing……Kalam wants the President to come under the Lok Pal's purview,
His internal auditor....his conscience is always on…..externally he wants Lok Pal to review.

Confucius says….In today's Public Life lack of propriety and probity is the disparity,
Kalam is a breath of fresh air…a rarity.

Manmohan (Man) has his head back to the grinding wheel,
Trying to bring things back to an even keel.

The Press says that from a shaky start now Man seems more confident,
He is more assertive while answering questions and is no longer diffident.

Manmohan still does not know where to sit…this was evident in this trip,
The host usually has to guide him and this is one area where he still has to come to grip.

Commies are making matters despondent,
To logic they just do not seem to be respondent.

Anyway now Man will invite them over for Cocktails and Dinner……placate them with khaana peena,
Try to stop them from making mushqil (difficult) his jeena (life).

But, Commies have their own constituency to please,
On this Foreign Advisors issue it will be impossible to iron the crease.

Seems ultimately Man will have to tell buddy Montek to give way,
Seems unlikely on this issue if they can hold sway.

In Maharashtra Congress plans to play Sonia' so called Tyaag to the hilt.
They feel this will stem Congress's electoral wilt.

They also plan to replay Congress ka haath aam aadmi ke saath,
Whether they succeed with this this time is a different baat.

Vidharba will do to Congress what Telangana did to BJP….wipe out,
Dropping Vidharba from the manifesto will be one of the causes of the route.

In Punjab Congress seems to have already accepted defeat,
Congress does not expect to win even one seat.

Amrinder on his sojourn in Manali must have really gorged on drink and food….glutted,
Helicopter had to force land…..because of his excessive weight it plummeted.

The 'ides of September' have passed ….Government did not fall,
Astrologers will still pat themselves and say at least it was a close call.

Advani has brokered a peace between Uma and Venkaiah….forgive and forget,
Both cannot forgive and so they will not forget…..seeing each other they will still fret.

Advani admonished both and asked them that if wanted to fight they should fight Congress and the Left,
Internal fighting is leaving the Party bereft.

Will Railways be sending a Bill to Laloo for his Southern trip,
He and a 30 member entourage splurging at Railway's expense….what a rip???

However Laloo says this trip was to pray for the Country and the Railways…he was on Sarkaari kaam,
Who gave him the name Laloo….wrong naam ( laloo means stupid).

World oil Prices are at 50 not out….batting strongly on a weak wicket,
More rises and people will start to picket.

Hulka Fulka….

Now it is between Pawar and Dalmiya……both boast of their support,
Let's see who will prove true his purport.

The Courts are seized of the matter on the Broadcasting rights,
Zee wants to add a Sports Channel and has the Broadcasting Rights in its sights.

It is no longer about the game,
Now it is just money, power and fame.
