Dearth of IAS from WB

Aaj Ki Aawaz

Zaheera's volte-face has thrown human rights activists in a tizzy,
Now on how to save face they have got busy.

Teesta Setelvad says that Zaheera's volte-face will not affect the case,
Fact is that her volte-face has knocked off the case's base.

In fact Teesta can be arrested on account of Zaheera's allegations,
Though Teesta says that these are Zaheera's own creations.

Modi has demanded that the fund sources of the NGOs working in Gujarat need to be probed,
Feels the vested interests of these NGOs need to be de-robed.

Teesta alleges the 'opposition' has coerced or bribed Zaheera to retract her stand,
Behind all this she alleges is Modi's hand.

Now another witness has alleged that Teesta threatened him…why this degradation???
Now people may demand that NGO should be a Non Goonda Organization.

Commies are shedding croc tears on the fuel hike…say Government ignored their solution,
To save face now they will say that Fuel Hike will help reduce pollution.

But in face of melting Global prices what was the need for such a steep hike in rates???
Would they bring the prices down once the fuel strife dissipates????

No then Government will say that let the Refineries recover the losses they
have made,
Till then any reduction will be stayed.

Manmohan (Man) called up Bush and congratulated him…..extended an
invitation,
And to come with a High Power Business delegation.

Commies are sour over Bush's win and now on Man's invite they are hopping mad,
They feel that Bush's winning is really sad.

For once the Commies are right….Bush will only bring more pain,
So I do not blame the Commies for their disdain.

Jaidev Thackrey is on the verge of joining NCP….says Pawar is inspiring,
But on his joining NCP Sena is not perspiring.

In Maharashtra the 'Shadow Cabinet' idea is good…..effective,
Only hope that in this effort they do not become selective.

In the Center too this should be done,
Maybe then Congress will appoint a shadow Opposition just for fun.

NDTV anchors are most unfair to non Congress invitees for debates and interviews,
They force their views and do not let the invitees to express their views.

In fact BJP should boycott NDTV……make them go one sided,
NDTV's bias needs a fitting response and needs to be derided.

Hulka Fulka….Bush presented wife with a puppy…..wifey should gift him a haathi,
After all Haathi is Republican's ka saathi.

Bush says Religion made him win ….but reality is at religion's cost,
Bush has won and faith has lost.

Weekend is here…all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,
Paradoxically all play and no work makes Jack look like a mere toy.

So work hard and play hard…in equal measures,
And do not forget to value God's blessings….your treasures.

Message Board

I have full sympathy with the officers working as private secretary and stagnating. I would like to point out other service such as Indian Supply Service where the Officers are recruited through UPSC by competitive Engineering Examination as Class-1 Officers but are rotting even after putting more than 30 years service but stagnating at Senior Time Scale. They have not been covered under ACP or insitu promotion. Even the vacant post are not being filled up on one pretext or the other. Will the Department of Personnel look into it?
