Aaj Ki Aawaz

Movie Mangal Pandey has got the Brits hopping mad,
They say the way Brits have been portrayed in the movie is real bad.

They say the movie is full of distortions,
Demand censoring of such portions.

Brits say the movie savages British rule,
Say anti Brit sentiment movie will fuel.

Even UP Government is considering banning this movie…….why????
They say movie distorts Mangal Pandey and on this there is a hue and cry!!!

But many say behind UP stand is Amar Singh's hand,
Amar is trying to ensure that his word in Bollywood is the 'law of the land'.

Censor Board under Ms. Tagore believes ' all is okay till proven wrong',
'Sabh chaltaa hai' is Censor Board Chairman ka favourite song!!!

Ms. Tagore believes that one should 'buck' the trend and wait for public ka reaction,
Then based on the reaction and political pressure take action!!!

Now Censor Board only sits up to take notice if there is anything anti Congress,
Then the Censor uses its scissors citing that the relevant scenes karthe hai oppress.

Laloo now says there is a conspiracy against him,
Says situation is very grim!!!

Says that there is a move to prevent voting by genuine voters,
And all these voters are RJD supporters!!

But then he is in power so why does he not get this stopped,
Seems EC is hell bent that Laloo ka goonda bubble is popped!!!

Laloo spurs his Party men telling that this is the ultimate battle,
Insiders say Laloo ho gaya hai rattle.

Now he says Congress is a sugar coated bitter pill,
Says they shake his hand in friendship but have dushmani in their dil!!

Reminds Congressis that he stood by Sonia when all were pointing fingers at her being a videsi,
Says he was the only one saying that after Sonia's marriage to Rajiv she had become a desi!!!

Now before boarding a flight remember if plane is hijacked India could shoot it down,
This is a warning to terrorists that with India they can no longer clown.

Yes if there is a VIP or VIP's kith or kin then Sarkaar could change its stand,
After all when it comes to VIPs all laws are written on sand!!!

Islamic Terrorists have written themselves off when the embark on such a mission,
So such pledges are not going to make them go into remission.

Also remember prevention is better than cure……El Al is a good example,
However on certain passengers rights be prepared to trample.

Make Air India the safest airline to travel by,
New USP for Air India……… Safest way to Fly!!!

Are Deshmukh's days numbered???
Could be ……. because detractors say that during the floods he slumbered!!!

His replacement……. Gunman Patil or Smoothy Prithviraj,
Inn mein se kaun karre ga Maharashtra pe raaj????

They say now Manmohan will reshuffle his Cabinet by end August....after current session,
Sooner the better…..now in Congress confidence is in recession.

There is a chance that Rahul Baba may get a Cabinet berth,
So that he can start learning administration and then proving his worth.

He may get Panchayti Raaj…....... Uncle Aiyer will show him the ropes,
As with the pressures of MOPNG he copes!!!

Saare jahaan se achcha Hindustan hamaara……. Mera Bharat Mahaan,
Qurbaan hai iss pe hum sabh ki jaan.

Bharat Kumar

Public Forum

D.K.Tiwari's is a typical reaction reflecting an attitude 'if not me than who else'.It however, accepts the incompetance of the self. Profitability has no relevance in the context of socio-economic development of the resource poor people. There has been no dearth of investment, but poor policies and lacklustre implementation has been the root cause of failure. Rs. 50,000 crore has been spent to tackle the problem of drinking water since independence but rural poor is still struggling to have access to clean drining water.who are responsible for this, the ones who cosider themselves torch bearer, indispensible and most wise which they are certainly not.Blowing their own trumpet will not sustain them any longer, nation now has to encounter the challenges effectively with professional competance and not with the generalist attitude of incompetance and adhocism.India if now is at the threshhold to join the group of world leaders it is mainly due to remarkable achievements in the sphere of economic reforms, Information Technology, nuclear and missile power made under the leadership of renowned economist, technocrat and scienist and not a generalist having no vision. Another example of real outcome of an speicialist, which has brought in positive impact on day to day life of a commoner in Delhi is the efficient implementation of Delhi Metro Rail Project.
