Ramchandran to head Petronet LNG Ltd !

The race for the Post of Managing Director of Petronet LNG Ltd has started. The term of the present incumbent S.K.Mathur expires in March 2005. A hot favourite for the job is M S Ramachandran, present India Oil Corporation Chairman who is superannuating in March 2005. Already the recommendation of the Search Committee to select a candidate of age between 45-60 years has been done by Secretary, S C Tripathi, of Ministry of Petroleum by over ruling "in case of exceptional candidate" the age bar will be 45-65 years. It is believed that it has been done to accommodate Ramachandran who belongs to the same community and region that of the Petroleum Minister.

G S Grover is all set to become Director of BSNL (C & M) on May 1. He would succeed N K Mangala.
