Sisodia to head National Institute !

Outgoing Secretary Banking, N S Sisodia, is now out of the race for the post of Member UPSC. Now the name of 1968 batch retired Rajasthan cadre IAS officer, N S Sisodia, is doing the round to head the Institute of Defence Studies and Analysis.

Panda to be DDG AIIMS
Debasish Panda will be new Deputy Director General (Administration) of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.He is 1987 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

A major arms racket in Nagaland !

A major fake arms license racket has reportedly been unearthed in Nagaland. Initial conservative estimates suggest that not less than about a lakh fake licenses have been issued to people all over the country from Nagaland. The maximum number of fake licenses have been issued to people from Bihar, UP, Maharashtra, MP, Gujrat. Even foreigners - from Nepal-have been able to get licenses from Nagaland. Issuing new licenses was banned in Nagaland in 1988. However, new licenses have reportedly been rampantly issued by the local administration at a cost of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 . Just imagine, how many private armies would be running 'legitimately' and creating havoc in the society because of these! Is the Government of India aware?
