PMO drops several 1971 batch IAS !

The PMO is reported to have dropped as many as 13 IAS of 1971 batch - list of whom was sent to it for the empanelment to the post of Secretary level. While the original list contained 41 names, the final list has only 28.

During the last review meeting, Satish Chandra has been empanelled to the rank of Secretary in the Government of India.He is 1970 batch IAS officer of UT cadre.

Binoo Sen is POTA Review Committee Member

Former Secretary Steel Ms Binoo Sen has been appointed Member of the POTA Review Committee. She is retired 1967 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.

1973 batch IAS get posting

As many as 34 plus 2 IAS of the 1973 batch were empanelled as Additional Secretary in the Government of India. So far about 18 have been given posting. About a dozen officers of this batch are not keen to get GoI job.

Giriraj Prasad Verma to join GoI

Giriraj Prasad Verma is all set to join the Government of India in a month or two. He is 1977 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

51 PCS recommended for IAS cadre in UP

The outgoing UPSC Chairman, Mata Prasad, is said to have recommended at least 51 names of PCS for being granted IAS cadre in UP. Mata Prasad is retired 1962 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre.

IPS ahead of IAS in Uttaranchal

Uttaranchal is perhaps the only state in the country where the IPS are ahead of IAS as far as their promotions were concerned. While the 1978 batch IPS have been made the ADG, 1978 batch IAS are yet to be promoted as Principal Secretary.

Laloo wants Congress to be realistic,
On Congress's prospects in Bihar elections he is pessimistic.

In fact he has gone to the extent of saying that Congress can go alone,
Chuckles that Congress in the Bihar electoral sea will go down like a stone!!!

Laloo says that Congress should do a reality check,
Not just make demands…. just for the heck!!

Laloo's chamcha Raghuvansh Prasad has literally started hallucinating,
That is why when it comes to Laloo's and RJD's prospects he is prone to overstating.

Laloo says his supporters should not choke him with garlands….goons game,
Demands these and then shams this objection…his way of flaunting fame.

Also via this he feels he projects that he is flooded with adulation,
Fact is that this adulation is a coerced creation.

The garlands are then sold to flower vendors for 'chai pani' money for his chamchas,
Who coerce people in the first place to get garlands by brandishing their tamanchaas.

Paswan seems to be in a state of total undecidedness…. where should he go and what he should do,
If Laloo wins this time in Bihar he knows that politically Laloo will cook his stew.
