President appoints Madras HC judges

The President has appointed Justice R Banumathi, Justice SK Krishnan, Justice Thottipalayam Varadharajan Masilamani, Justice AR Ramalingam, Justice S Sardar Zackria Hussain, Justice M Thanikanchalam and Justice SR Singharavelu as Judges of the Madras High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. All these Judges are presently working as Additional Judges of the Madras High Court and appointed Judges in that order of seniority. The President has also appointed Justice S Ashok Kumar as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court for a period of one year with effect from August 3, 2005.
