ONGC registers profit The net profit of Rs.12,983 Crore was registered by the ONGC after subsidy pay-out of Rs.4,104 Crore (up 53% from Rs.2,690 Crore in 2003-04) to Oil Refining and Marketing PSUs by way of incremental discount of crude prices, and after incurring the under-recoveries due to controlled pricing of gas and related administrative instructions from the Government. The Board of Directors of the Company while approving the Financial Results recommended a final dividend of 200% making yearly dividend at 400% including 200% interim dividend. The total dividend outgo (including the interim) will be Rs. 5704 Crore besides Rs. 776 Crore as tax on dividend. |
